Our ‘BREATHE NATURE’ explanation:

Rabbit’s Foot Fern” (Davallia fejeensis or Humata tyermanii), also known as “Spider’s Leg”, “Hare’s Leg” or even “Monkey’s Leg” is a decorative houseplant that instantly brightens up your interior! It consists of beautiful double feathered leaves that shine beautifully. The “Rabbit’s foot fern” are the root-like structures that grow happily over the edge of the pot. This plant is easy to look after: give it a light-rich spot, but not in bright sunlight, and ensure a temperature above 10 degrees. Davallia fejeensis is not winter-hardy, so it can be kept as a houseplant. In summer, however, the plant can be kept on the terrace. Don’t put the plant in draughty rooms, and a little moisture in the potting soil will keep it happy.

Are you already familiar with the rejuvenation cure? Cut away the green leaves to reveal the decorative aerial roots. Soon, new leaves will appear, making for a beautiful spectacle!

Fun fact: The ‘Rabbit Foot Fern’ is considered a good luck charm worldwide! The Celts believed that rabbits communicated with spirits from the underworld, making their paws a powerful amulet. Therefore, we also see this plant as the lucky symbol of our ‘BREATHE NATURE’ label. Have you taken a closer look at our label?

All in a row:

  • Put it in a light-rich spot, but not in bright sunlight.
  • Keep the potting soil nice and moist, but not too wet.
  • Make sure the temperature is above 10 degrees.
  • Keep it out of draughts for a happy ‘Rabbit’s Paw’!

“Enjoy every moment with your best friend forever from the ‘BREATHE NATURE’ collections!”
