Our “BREATHE NATURE” explanation:

The Aeschynanthus, or “Lipstick plant,” is a real showstopper! This tropical plant is native to the humid rainforests of Southeast Asia, where it clings to trees and walls with its aerial roots. Its striking flowers, which resemble a tube of lipstick, give the plant its name – making it a real eye-catcher! The flowers are usually bright red, but there are also variations in orange and yellow, which give the plant a playful look. Care? Quite simply! Place the “Lipstick plant” in a bright spot, but avoid direct sunlight. It loves moisture, so water it regularly and spray for some extra humidity. Be careful though, the soil shouldn’t be too wet, it doesn’t like that. Put it in a hanging pot or let it climb and it will really come into its own. With a little love and care, he will reward you with his cheerful flowers!

All in all:

• Put it in a bright spot, but avoid bright sunlight.
• Spray occasionally for some extra moisture in the air.
• Give it a splash of water weekly.
• Or submerge it in a basin of water every three weeks.
• Make sure the soil is not too wet!
