Our ‘BREATHE NATURE’ explanation:

The Marantha tricolor, or “Prayer Plant“, has leaves in a beautiful pattern of green, red and yellow. The upper surface is deep green with striking red and yellow veins running in a herringbone pattern. The underside of the leaves often has a purplish hue, which gives the plant its special look.

What makes this plant extra charming is that the leaves fold up at night, as if the plant is placing itself in prayer – a fascinating and magical sight! The Marantha tricolor likes indirect light and a humid environment, but is otherwise easy to care for. With its playful colours and unusual movements, it is the perfect plant to bring a tropical atmosphere into your home!

All in a row:

• Put it in a spot with indirect sunlight, not direct sunlight.
• Give the plant water when the top layer of the soil is dry.
• Keep the air humid, a little misting helps!
• It likes a warm spot, between 18°C and 24°C.
• Watch out for small bugs, such as spider mites and scale insects.
