Our ‘BREATHE NATURE’ explanation:

Nepenthes rebecca is a real eye-catcher and a must-have for any plant lover who loves the unusual! What makes the plant extra interesting is that Nepenthes is also called the “Monkey Cup” because some monkeys use the cups to drink water. Pretty funny, right? This plant comes from the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia, where it has adapted to catch insects. The brightly coloured, tubular traps resemble exotic jugs – and they are not just for decoration! They catch insects that give the plant extra nutrients. Place the Nepenthes in a bright spot with indirect light, water regularly (but without drowning), and you will see how this jungle beauty develops into an impressive eye-catcher in your home!

All in a nutshell:

  • Put your Nepenthes in a bright spot, but not in the blazing sun!
  • Give it rainwater or distilled water – not tap water.
  • Keep the soil slightly moist, but don’t let it swim.
  • This plant likes warmth – between 18°C and 30°C is perfect.
  • Keep the humidity high, a little misting won’t hurt.
  • In winter it takes a break – give it a little less water then.

“Enjoy every moment with your best friend forever from the ‘BREATHE NATURE’ collections!”
