Our “BREATHE NATURE” explanation:
The Pseudorhipsalis ramulosa, or “Red Coral Cactus” is a striking plant with several characteristics. At first the branches are green, but as the plant ages or under the influence of factors such as light and temperature, the branches begin to take on a beautiful reddish hue. This happens because the plant produces anthocyanin, a pigment, in response to stress, such as bright sunlight. The result is a vibrant, red-orange color that is especially visible at the tips of the branches.
In addition to its bright red branches, the “Red Coral Cactus” is also known for the beautiful white globules that appear on it. These globules, which resemble small flowers or berries, usually form at the ends of the branches and give the plant an extra tropical and exotic look. They add a delicate, almost magical touch to the plant, providing a wonderful contrast to the colorful branches.
The “Red Coral Cactus” likes bright, indirect light and a warm, moist spot. Put your friend on a nice windowsill where it gets some filtered sunlight – this will cause its branches to turn a beautiful red-orange, especially at the tips. Water regularly, but let the soil dry out in between to prevent root rot. In winter it needs a little rest, so less water is fine then. Repot only if it gets too big. With this simple care, your friend will stay healthy and bring a tropical feel to your home!
Everything in a row:
“Enjoy every moment with your best friend forever from the ‘BREATHE NATURE’ collection!”
